- At Strathnaver Guest House we try to care for the environment. We recycle all paper, glass, plastic and aluminium and use a compost bin. In the dining room we do not use pre-packed butter, jams and marmalades etc as this creates more paper waste. Instead we prefer to use butter freshly cut from the block and we put jams and marmalade in individual dishes. We use energy saving bulbs throughout the house. Staff are also trained to be green. We try to promote walking and forest walks, cycle hire and use of public transport.
- Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets in the guest house, garden or car parking area.
- John and Irene MacKay have run the guest house since 1990 and hospitality is our business. We offer all our guests a truly Scottish welcome. Make an online enquiry at strathnaveroban@aol.com
